West Virginia's Unemployment Rate Saw A Slight Increase.

Workforce West Virginia reported that the unemployment rate rose slightly to 4.4 percent, that is an increase of two – tenths of a percentage point.

The agency said that seasonal declines in construction resulted in the loss of 2,000 jobs.
The national average is five percent
