Matchup Set for Kentucky's 30th District State Senate Race.
Two Perry County Residents will square off in a special election to be held on Feb 5th aiming to fill the 30th District State Senate Seat.
Democrat Scott Alexander and Republican State Representative Brandon Smith will be seeking votes from voters in Bell, Harlan, Leslie and Perry Counties.
The senate seat became available when Daniel Mongiardo was sworn in as lieutenant governor.
