Governor Beshear Asks Congress To Restore Drug Funds
Congress slashed funding which helped programs fight illegal drugs in December of last year. The deep cuts amounted to $350-million nationwide...Kentucky was reduced by $5.3-million, down to $1.7-million.
Now, Governor Steve Beshear is asking Congress to restore the funding to Criminal Justice Programs.
