Fort Campbell Soldier Dies In Iraq Due To Non-Combat Injuries.
Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear has directed that flags at all state office buildings remain at half staff. SGT Tracy Renee Birkman, 41, of New Castle, Virginia, died last Friday in Owesat, Iraq from non-combat related injuries.
Birkman is the second Fort Campbell soldier to die in Iraq this month.
