96.5 WXCC Increases Power To 100,000 Watts
Wednesday, January 30th, 2008 will go down in history for the country music station Tri-State Coal Country 96.5 WXCC. The Williamson, WV station expanded its coverage area by increasing to 100,000 watts. The announcement was made by owner Walter E. May. WXCC is now heard in markets such as Huntington, Ashland, Beckley, Bluefield, Logan, Norton, Hazard, Stanton and portions of Tennessee.
