Pikeville Medical Center Awarded $ 500,000 in Federal Funding For Cancer and Heart Disease Research
Congressman Hal Rogers announced Thursday that he secured $ 500,000 in funding for Pikeville Medical Center’s Research and Development Institute . The project is to further the hospital’s advance research on cancer and heart disease.
The Institute will cost $ 5.4 million and will become a part of the hospital’s campus. It will be the first facility of its kind in eastern and southern Kentucky.
