Pikeville City Park Expanding.
The City of Pikeville recently purchased the Ross Harris House which is located beisde the city park.
City commissioners have decided to make the 5,000 ft structure a part of the park.
City manager Donovan Blackburn says that the city will renovate the first floor and convert it into a community center in which residents can hold gatherings and weddings.
Blackburn says that commissioners have spent over $ 850,000 in the past few years in improving the park.
