Officials Meet To Discuss Coal's Future
Officials from Kentucky and ten other states met Tuesday to discuss America's energy future. Although coal is accused of being the chief culprit in the greenhouse gas debate, Governor Dave Fruedenthal of Wyoming says, as long as coal remains this country's most abundant fossil fuel, it must play a central role in U.S. policy.
The summit was hosted by Governor Joe Manchin of West Virginia, the West Virginia Department of Commerce, and, the Southern States Energy Board.
