Knott County Secretary Indicted
43-year old Tammy Brewer, a secretary for Knott County Judge-Executive Randy Thompson, has been indicted on perjury charges.
The indictment says Brewer committed perjury during a grand jury investigation into alleged misappropriation of funds by Knott County officials.
Indicted last month for election fraud were Randy Thompson and three other officials. If convicted, Brewer could face up to five years in prison. The court date has not been set.
