Kentucky Highway Fatality Report.
According to the Kentucky State Police 11 people died in 10 separate crashes on Kentucky’s roadways last week.
All of the fatalities were traveling in motor vehicles and seven of the victims were not wearing safety belts. Three of the fatalities were the result of crashes involving alcohol .
Three of the vehicles occurred in eastern Kentucky ; Floyd, Lawrence and Perry counties.
So far 822 people have died on Kentucky roadways this year. This is 55 fewer than one year ago.
