Kentucky Education Commissioner Visits Eastern Kentucky
Jon Draud, Kentucky's new Education Commissioner, was recently in Breathitt County and Pike County. It was the official debut of his assuming the new post.
Draud visited public shools in the two localities, and stressed his belief that education is the number one issue in the Commonwealth. He also said, funding is his main concern.
He visited the Pikeville Independent Schools while in Pike County.
