Governor Beshear Signals Alarm At State Budget Problems
Governor Steve Beshear has called Kentucky's state budget situation "beyond serious". He has called a news conference for today in Frankfort.
He plans a message to the public next week about the situation. Some in state government have been advised to prepare for possible cuts.
