Floyd County Rescue Squad Receiving National Honor.
Floyd County Emergency and Rescue Squad will be awarded the 2007 National Service Award next week in Washington, D. C.
The squad was formed after a bus accident that killed 27 people on Feb, 28th, 1958.
The rescue squad was formed by Graham Burchett and James B. Goble.
Captain Timothy Cooley will accept the award on behalf of the squad.
