Floyd County Rescue Squad Receives National Honor
Captain Timothy Cooley of the Floyd County Volunteer Emergency and Rescue Squad has accepted the 2007 National Service or Sacrifice Award for Response.
The award was presented in Washington, DC by Congressman "Hal" Rogers. The squad will celebrate their 50th anniversary in April.
