Congressman Rogers Announces Funding for Pilot Program.
U.S. Department of Homeland Security is providing $ 4 million dollars to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet to further enhance a REAL ID pilot program. The program is intended to develop more secure driver’s licenses throughout the country to prevent terrorism , reduce fraud, and improve the accuracy of identification documents that State governments issue.
