WV State Supreme Court Orders New Murder Trial for Mingo Co Man
The West Virginia State Supreme Court of Appeals has overturned a murder conviction of a Dingess man and has ordered a new trial in Mingo County Circuit Court.
David Jacob Nelson was found guilty on April 14th, 2005 for the kidnapping, sexual assault and murder of Wanda Lesher.
The high court wrote in its ruling that several errors occurred during the trial.
Nelson is scheduled for a pretrial hearing next week.
