Two New Businesses Coming to Pikeville. City Also Gets Funding to Construct New Road.
Pikeville’s economic upswing is continuing. City Manager Donovan Blackburn informed us that two new businesses have signed an agreement to locate inside city limits. Blackburn says that a tractor supply company and a new Toyota dealership will be located near Burger King and Lowes.
Blackburn also told us that the city has been awarded a grant for $180,000 from the Kentucky Transportation Department. The city will construct a new road that will run parallel to the new businesses. Blackburn says that the new road is needed so the city can continue to enjoy economic growth.
