Secretary of State Expecting a Slightly Higher Voter Turnout Than in 2003
Kentucky’s General election is tomorrow. Approximately 2.8 million registered voters are eligible to cast their votes.
All state constitutional offices are up for grabs. The polls will be open from 6am – 6pm eastern standard time.
Les Fugate, Deputy Secretary of State told us that they are predicting that 42 percent of registered voters will participate. 40 percent of voters visited the precincts in 2003. Fugate says that his office is seeing a lot of people voting by absentee.
