Majority of People Killed on Kentucky Roadways Are Not Buckled Up
Preliminary statistics indicate that thirteen people died in eleven separate crashes on Kentucky’s roadways last week.
Eleven of the fatalities involved motor vehicles and eight of the victims were not wearing safety belts.
One fatal accident occurred in Pike County.
Through November 4th, numbers indicate that 576 people have lost their lives on Kentucky roadways. This is 44 fewer than reported for this time period last year. Fifty – seven percent of the victims were not wearing a safety belt.
