Former Kentucky Governor Brown Declines Invitation to Participate in Inauguration Ceremony.
Former Kentucky Governor John Y. Brown Jr, says that he won’t attend the inauguration of governor/elect Steve Beshear.
Brown says that he doesn’t respect Beshear. Brown says that Beshear used dirty tactics against him in the 1987 governor’s race in which they both lost to Wallace Wilkinson.
Brown was governor from 1979 to 1983.
The inauguration ceremony will be held Dec. 11th.
