Charges Against Two Former KSP Officers Are Dismissed
Charges have been dismissed against two former Kentucky State Police Officers who were indicted on misdemeanor charges of assault and official misconduct. James Phillip Moore and Mark Ridener were accused of assaulting Richard McCrystal of Laurel County. Defense attorneys argued they were immuned from prosecution. The argument worked. The prosecution appelaed and plans to attempt to have the charges reinstated.
