Two Johnson County Residents Charged With Animal Cruelty
Two Johnson County residents have been arrested on animal cruelty charges. Maudie Roberts and Jimmy Marsillett both of Flat Gap are accused of confining pit bull dogs for fighting purposes. Also the dogs had no food or water. The two defendents are out in lieu of $2,000 bond. One of the dogs had to be euthanized due to the severity of its injuries. The other dogs were transported to an animal shelter in Greenup County.
