Two People Arrested at Fishtrap Lake.
Two individuals were apprehended in the Millers Creek Area of Fishtrap Lake. According to the press release the two individuals were apparently using a cutting torch to take metal from an abandoned mining site. The two were armed with a shotgun and operating a motor vehicle with expired tags and no insurance.
The incident is under investigation by Fishtrap Lake Resource Manager Rodney Holbrook, federal charges are forthcoming. Authorities did not release the identities of the accused. We will have a follow - up story.
