Shooting at Jennies Creek.
A Wayne County man remains critical in a Huntington Hospital after he was shot at a Jennies Creek home. According to the Mingo County Sheriff’s Dept, William Spurlock was arrested and charged with malicious wounding. He is accused of shooting Sam Sammons Jr in the back. Spurlock remains lodged in the Southwestern Regional Jail. Bond was set at $50,000 by Chief Magistrate Dee Sidebottom.
