Pikeville Elementary Names New Principal.
Pikeville Elementary has a new leader. The PES Site Based Decision Making Council selected Robert Jones to become the new principal. The hiring took place on Friday. Jones will begin his new job on November 5th.
Jones is a native of Floyd County. He spent fifteen years with the Johnson County School System, during which time he served as a high school science teacher and Assistant Principal at Johnson County Middle School. For the past six and a half years Jones has been the Principal of W.R. Castle Memorial Elementary.
