Fatal Car Wreck in Johnson County.
An automobile accident that occurred Wednesday evening claimed the life of a Johnson County man. 67 year - old Gary Cantrell was attempting to cross the northbound lane of US 23 onto Route 1428 when he pulled into the path of a semi.
Cantrell was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi was transported to a hospital where he was treated and released.
The accident was investigated by the Kentucky State Police.
