Driver Cited for Hitting Pike County School Bus.
Kentucky State Police Trooper Scott Hopkins told us this morning that the driver of a gravel truck that struck a Pike County school bus from behind has been cited for DUI. Robert Evans along with four children was transported by ambulance to Pikeville Medical Center. 18 other children were taken to PMC by their parents to get checked out and four other students were taken by their parents to a Jenkins Hospital. No one was seriously injured.
The accident occurred Wednesday evening on Route 197 at Elkhorn Creek.
