Corrections Officer Makes Bail. Second Officer Is Now Being Investigated.

The Kentucky State Police is currently conducting another investigation of a corrections officer at the Otter Creek Correctional Facility. Trooper Scott Hopkins told us that they are looking into allegations of sexual misconduct between a corrections officer and an inmate.

On Wednesday, corrections officer, George Hale was arrested after he is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with an inmate and promoting contraband. The Blue River resident was released from the Floyd County Detention Center after posting 10 percent of a $7,500 bond. Hale is charged with second degree sexual abuse and second degree promoting contraband.
