2007-2008 Tax Rate Set for City of Pikeville.
Good news for residents of the City of Pikeville your taxes won't be going up. The tax rate for the 2007-2008 fiscal year has been set. Here is a list of the rates. All are based on per one hundred dollars of assessed value.
real estate - $.175
tangible personal property - $.175
Taxpayers that pay by Nov 15th will be given a 2% discount.
Taxpayers that do not pay by Jan, 2, 2008 will be imposed a penalty of 5%.
Taxes that are paid after Feb, 4, 2008 will be assessed a penalty of 21%.
Lat year the taxes generated $771,400 for the city.
