Floyd County Bridge Ruled Unsafe.
A 30 year old bridge in Floyd County has been closed. The bridge, located on Highway 1101 did not pass inspection by transportation officials. Residents in the Drift area now must use an alternate route while officials decide what course of action should be taken to correct the dangerous situation.
