City of Logan Stands to Lose $11,000 Per Month.

Last week we reported that Millinium Teleservices in Logan will officially close for good this Friday. 75 jobs isn’t the only thing that the City of Logan is expected to lose. According to City Clerk Amber Gore, the city is expected to lose $11,000 per month in revenues that was generated by B&O taxes and rent money that came from the company. Gore says that the city is working diligently to lure a business into the Holland Street location.

The telemarketers quit conducting calls last week. Officials with the company are cleaning out the offices, and will issue employees there final paycheck at the end of the week. Millinium says that they are closing there Logan office due to economic conditions.
