Former U.K. Basketball Standout Visits Pike County.
Operation Unite, sponsored a one day basketball camp, Thursday at East Ridge High School. The theme was " Shoot Hoops, Not Drugs." The camp was ran by former U.K. basketball standout Jeff Sheppard. Sheppard led 209 children from grades K-12 in different drills of fundamentals and competition events. Sheppard hopes that the children gets out of the one day camp is to learn about the game of life, be a better person and stay away from drugs.
