Elkhorn Housing Authority Receives County Funding.
Recently, The Pike County Fiscal awarded the Elkhorn City Housing Authority $50,000. Housing Authority Manager Vickie Reid says that they are excited about receiving the much nedded funding. Reid says that this is the first funding that they have received since the 32 unit apartment complex opened in 1973. The bulk of the money will go toward replacing the windows of all 32 units, the cost is estimated at $44,000.
