Pike County Board to Re-hire Over 200 employees.
Last month, 300 non-tenured Pike County School employees were laid off. The Pike County Board of Education is going to rehire 234 employees. Officials say by being more conservative and watching their spending they have saved nearly $ 900,000. Nineteen employees are planning to retire.
