Perry County Man Faces Murder Charges.
A deadly automobile accident in April, in Perry County, has resulted in several charges levied against James Barnes. Barnes’ vehicle hit another car head on. The accident occurred Kentucky route 476. Killed in the crash was 34 year old Marlene Shelton. Several other people were injured. Barnes is charged with murder, DUI, assault and wanton endangerment. A September 10, court date has been set.
