Harvey Street Bridge Re-Named.
The Harvey Street Bridge in Williamson has been re-named the Pete Dillon Bridge. Dillon’s 34 year career with the city began in 1944. He retired in 1978 from the position of maintenance supervisor for the Williamson Housing Authority. Dillon was the first person to drive across the bridge that is now named after him. A special ceremony was held Saturday.
