Can the Pike County Airport Be Converted Into a Regional Airport?
Leaders in Pike County are interested to see if the Pike County Airport can be converted into a commercial airport. The Big sandy Area Development District is conducting the research. T.J. Litafik, Pike County Judge Executive Assistants says the area needs commercial air service to have the kind of industry we want. Officials add that to attract new businesses to the region , companies need a faster way to get their products into the area.
