US 460 to Re-Open Wednesday Evening.
Highway District 12 spokesperson Sara George says that US Route 460 is scheduled to re-open this evening at 6pm. The stretch of Highway from the Shelby Gap Bridge to Chloe Road has been closed for the past six weeks due to a pavement collapse. George Collins, project manager for Highway District 12 said that crews are scheduled to begin patch and paving work on Chloe Road. The road work to Chloe is scheduled to begin Thursday. Delays should be minimal. The work to Chloe Road should last any where from seven to 10 days.
