Theft of 911 signs in Mingo County are on the Rise.

Mingo County 911 Director Bill Davis says that unfortunately thefts of 911 street signs are on the rise. So far it has cost the county $3,000.00 to replace the signs. The 911 Director says that if you are caught stealing road signs you will be prosecuted. The purpose of the signs are to identify streets for emergency responders. Anyone having information regarding the missing signs you need to call the Mingo County Sheriff’s Department at 235-0300.
