Pike County Relay Teams Moving Closer to Meet Record Goal.

The 61 teams that are raising money for Pike County’s Relay for Life are on pace of breaking last years' record of $197,000. Thelma Vinson, Pike County Relay Chair told us that they have raised over $100,000. That’s thirty percent ahead from this time last year. Several teams are waiting until the last minute to turn in there money. The goal this year is $225,000. Pike County’s Relay will take place this weekend from Pikeville’s Bob Amos Park. Festivities will get underway Friday at 6pm
