Dorton Resident Pleads Guilty
The trial of a Pike County man abruptly ended Tuesday morning, after the defendant pled guilty. Christopher Barry Campbell pled guilty to a single count of second degree burglary. The Commonwealth Attorney’s Office is recommending a prison sentence of five years. Campbell will be sentenced on June 29th by Circuit Court Judge Eddy Coleman. Campbell will remain lodged in the Pike County Detention Center as he awaits sentencing.
