Mingo County Prosecuting Attorney Nets Two More Drug Convictions.
Mingo County Prosecuting Attorney felony drug convictions rise to 96. The fight on drugs continues in Mingo County. Two more county residents have pleaded guilty to various drug charges.
Michael Anthony Parker pled guilty to conspiracy of a controlled substance (cocaine). Parker will be sentenced on June 11th, at 11:45am, by Mingo County Circuit Court Judge Mike Thornsbury. Parker faces one to five years of prison time. Prosecuting Attorney, Michael Sparks says that he will recommend the defendant be sentenced to five years, and also recommend a sentence of $1,000.00
Jared Daniel Bowers pled guilty to attempt delivery of a controlled substance (cocaine). Bowers faces one to three years of prison time. Sparks will recommend a sentence of three years of prison time and a fine of $1,000.00
