Five Deaths on Kentucky Roadways During Holiday Weekend
Preliminary statistics indicate that five people perished in five separate car crashes on Kentucky’s roadways during the Memorial Day Weekend.
Single fatality car crashes occurred in Pike, Fayette, Pulaski, Owen and Todd counties.
During last years’ Memorial Day Weekend they were 14 crashes that resulted in 16 fatalities.
Through May 28, 322 lives have been lost on Kentucky’s roadways so far this year. This is seven fewer than reported for this time period in 2006.
