Area Students honored at Academic Banquet
The Williamson Kiwanis Club hosted its 24th annual “ Top of the Class”Academic Banquet. Garianna Buckley and Elizabeth Moore graduating seniors from Pike County Central High School were honored as “ Best of the Best”.Chris Stirewait , political editor of The State Journal was the keynote speaker. Other students that were honored at the banquet includes; Belfry High School: Courtney Blackburn and Erin Newsome. Gilbert High : Dustin Blankenship. Matewan High: Katie Adkins, Amber Dillon and Krista Ratliff. Omega Bible Academy : William Carrico. Phelps High: Tiffany Coleman. Regional Christian School: Latishia Dillon. Sheldon Clark High School: Katherine Bentley, Elizabeth Fannin and Brian Slone. Tug Valley: Laura Adkins, Heather Hall and Elizabeth Mullins. Williamson High: Louie Olive and Jordan Hagy.
