Police Chase Ends With Arrest

WEST VIRGINIA....

Shortly before 3:30 A.M. Tuesday morning, a West Virginia State Police Trooper was trying to stop Robert Dillon of Harts on I-77 near Malden for having an improper license plate. Instead of stopping, Dillon took off and led police on a chase that took them on Route 94 through Kanawha State Forrest before he was caught on Clark Road near Charleston, where he and a passenger jumped out and ran. Police discovered Dillon was wanted on a fugitive warrant from Lincoln County for fleeing from home confinement. He is charged with fleeing from police, wanton endangerment and fleeing while driving under the influence of alcohol.
