AAA State Title Game In Question

WEST VIRGINIA....
Tuesday, Kanawha County Circuit Judge Carrie Webster ruled that suspended South Charleston players are eligible for the class AAA state title game. Webster ruled the jurisdiction of referees ended when they declared the game over, meaning they couldn't go back and suspended players. Brooke County tried to intervene Monday in the case after last Saturday's game, a 29-28 South Charleston win. Four South Charleston football players, Tyler Harris, Pierria' Henry, Emerson Gagnon and Trevond Reese, were suspended after the game ending fight in the November 19th playoff game against Hurricane. Ohio County Circuit Judge Arthur Recht issued a temporary restraining order delaying the AAA championship game after a legal challenge was filed by the Brooke County Board of Education to stop the game scheduled for Saturday at noon at Wheeling Island Stadium. While Webster's ruling clears the way for a final Saturday between South Charleston and Martinsburg, Recht's decision appears to put that game on hold.
